I can't believe this is all coming together...I had a little problem on my credit that I didn't know about, turns out it was a mistake on Dell computer's part, it is resolved all is good, and financing will be underway-soon...I hope. Need an inspection, and we should be to go.

Well, let's hope this is the only significant issue. We haven't had the house inspected yet. I'm not sure that it even matters witht he "as is" clause.

The Adventure Begins !

Bill and I put in an offer on this house. Our offer has been accepted! The process of buying our first house has begun, and already it is crazy.

We have been working with multiple lenders and each one is trying to out do the other -- sort of cool. Whatever our mortgage payment is going to be, it'll certainly be more than our rent payments now.

The owner signed the agreement and was adamant about putting "as is" and "will not pay to have anything done" in the agreement.

Well, the elderly woman who used to live here, left nearly everything -- including ugly window dressings and matching bed spreads.

They are much like the ones in The Sound of Music
-- too bad neither one of us can sew or we could make more play-clothes for the VonTrapp children.
